Arogya Setu helps the user to find out if he is suffering from Corona virus infection and checks that he is in contact with a person suffering from Corona virus, even not inadvertently.

 Who made Arogya Setu App?

The app has been developed by the National Center for Information Science. Which comes under the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology. Giving information about the app, it has been told that its purpose is to give the people the right and accurate advice related to COVID-19 i.e. Corona virus. Governments from the Center to the state have been thinking of launching several tracking apps for the last few days to stop the corona virus spreading rapidly in the country.

How will this app be installed on mobile?

The COVID-19 tracker app currently supports 11 languages, including Hindi and English. Apart from this, it uses GPS to access the location. In order to use the Arogya Setu app, the user must first enter their mobile number and register in it. After completing the first step, the app will ask users for credentials, which is optional. For those who were worried about the privacy policy of the app, the government has claimed that the store data in the app is 'encrypted' and will not be shared with any third party app.

As soon as the app goes to the home screen, the app tracks the user's location to see if it is in a safe place. Not only this, Android users can also read the Health Ministry live tweets on this app.
